Hot oil fondue has been a family tradition my entire life. Every Christmas, we settle in for a long night of cooking meat and veggies in hot oil pots. We’ll have salad and bread, what seems like a million dipping sauces. It’s a slow process — so slow, we typically open gifts while we eat.
